This is the best RGB cables I have bought, and I bought a lot of different, even tried to make my own.
+ The Csync makes the picture perfect. Everything is where it should be. Absolutely perfect. Tested with crt tv and Amiga monitor.
+ Im pleasantly surprised by the sound, all the other RBG cables I have tried have a an annoying buzzing sound. Not this one .

I bought this cable to hook up the PAL Mega Drive I recently picked up. I hooked it up to my tv, but I noticed that on my crt, the image defaulted to 16/9, so the image was stretched. When I manually set the tv to 4/3, after a few minutes it would change back to widescreen. To solve this problem, I opened up the SCART connector of the cable and desoldered the resistor and the brown wire from pin 8 and solder them together so they would link up with pin 16 on the SCART connector. This way, the cable put out RGB in 4/3, only thing the cable didn't do anymore was telling the tv to auto switch to the channel the Mega Drive is connected to when turning it on, a compromise with which I can live. That's one minor issue for me and if you feel the same it's something to look out for if you're not confident opening up stuff. On the plus side, the cable feels pretty solid and is nice and thick, the picture and sound quality is excellent.

Excellent cable, really gave my old Mega Drive a new lease of life with full RGB colours and stereo sound.

Definitely worth the upgrade over the original RF unit.
