Can't compare it to products from competitors as it is my first Sega scart cable but I do appreciate these are made from British cables, that and the excellent customer service made the choice easy for me. That said, both the image- and sound quality are top notch and so is the build- and components quality by the looks of it. These are a serious improvement over the coax wiring, if you own and use a Mega Drive this is perhaps the best purchase you can make for it. Reason I bought it is to be able to enjoy the PAL / NTSC mod I did on my Sega as neither the coax wire nor the composite wire makes that possible. I did not so much buy it for image quality as I was already quite happy with my composite wiring. Haven't made the comparison yet as my current TV doesn't have composite IN, but I do imagine these offer even a very noticable improvement over the nice composite cable (compared to coax) I used on my former TV, as this signal is true RGB.
